Job Description/Responsibilities:

 

Generate wafer sort and final test programs and test flows from functional, SCAN, BIST and IDDQ vectors in VCD, eVCD and wgl format and convert to ATE vector format for all digital and mixed signal ASIC product lines. Work closely with Design and Product Engineering on prototype debug, validation and characterization. Develop and built all required test hardware needed for ATE test setup. Work with Product Engineering to debug and verify test flows. Audit and release test programs to production at on-shore and off-shore subcontractor sites. Implement multi-site testing at WS and FT for test time and cost reduction for high volume product lines. Collect and analyze yield and test data and drive test program optimization. Trouble shoot test program, hardware and silicon related low yield events in production. Support root cause analysis and disposition of material discrepancy and RMA’s. Meet production on time delivery goal through all aspects of test engineering activities. Work with the R&D team and provide test support for new technology development. Provide technical support to design and application engineers.

Actively improve the processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity and achieve compliance to ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and Regulatory requirements.

 

Skills & Experience:

 

Hands on experience testing semiconductor devices with digital and analog ATE testers, preferably HP8300 & 9300, Credence SC212 & Quartet in a production environment. Knowledge of use of Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Power supplies is a plus. Working knowledge of various JEDEC IO standards is a must. A plus is additional knowledge in PCI-Express, USB2.0, LVDS, SSTL, HSTL and basic understanding of Analog to Digital (ADC) and Digital to Analog Converters (DAC). Good knowledge of programming languages, such as C, C++ and Perl. Experience working with load board and probe card manufacturers. Fundamental understanding of device physics and semiconductor reliability. Good oral and written communication skills, and complex problem solving skills. Work experience of 3-5 years in semiconductor test operation.

 

Education: 

 

BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.
