Amnon Fisher was named President & CEO of ChipX in December 2003. He has more than 25 years of engineering and executive management experience in the semiconductor industry. Previously, Mr. Fisher served as President and CEO of Genesis Microchip [NASDAQ: GNSS], guiding the company to a leading position in image processors for consumer and PC-display products. Under his leadership, the company's market share grew from 28 percent and $50 million in annual revenue in year 2000 to 70 percent and more than $200 million in revenue in 2003. During the last year, Mr. Fisher was an Entrepreneur In Residence with VantagePoint Venture Partners.

Mr. Fisher also served as General Manager and Vice President of the Consumer Products Divisions at NeoMagic and at LSI Logic, where he was responsible for a $400 million business servicing set-top-box, digital TV, and digital camera products. He was also Vice President and General Manager of LSI Logic's Computer Products Division, where he managed the company's core-based “system-on-a-chip” business. Mr. Fisher also held engineering management and engineering positions at Fujitsu MicroElectronics and Digital Equipment Corporation. He began his career at National Semiconductor in 1978.

Mr. Fisher holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from City College of New York and a B.S.E.E. from Israel Institute of Technology.

Elie Massabki joined ChipX in April 2004 as Vice President of Marketing. He has more than 20 years of experience in product marketing and management, most notably in communications IC marketing. In his most recent position, prior to joining ChipX, Mr. Massabki was Executive Director of Marketing at Mindspeed Technologies, Inc. [Nasdaq: MSPD], a spin-off of Conexant Systems, Inc. [Nasdaq: CNXT]. There he led the company into the VoIP enterprise market and increased Mindspeed's presence from virtually nothing to a market-leading position in design wins. Mr. Massabki's prior experience also includes positions with HotRail (acquired by Conexant), VLSI, and IDT.

Mr. Massabki holds a M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and a B.S.E.E. from California State University at Long Beach.

Ophir Nadir joined ChipX in March 2005 as Vice President of Engineering and R&D.  Mr. Nadir leads the ChipX R&D center in Haifa, Israel and the Design services group in Santa Clara, CA. Mr. Nadir has nearly 14 years of experience in the ASIC and standard cell industry. Prior to joining ChipX, he served as the Switching Product Design Director for Marvell Inc. Mr. Nadir also held several engineering and managerial positions at Galileo Technologies, Qualcomm and IBM.

Mr. Nadir holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Leon Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration at Tel Aviv University, 

   

ras_sheffield_ceo.jpg Robert "RAS" Sheffield joined ChipX in October 2006 as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Sheffield has more than 30 years of executive-level finance experience with both public and private companies. He has served as CFO for several well-known high-tech Silicon Valley companies, such as Time-Warner Interactive, Faroudja, Asante Technologies and Televideo Systems.  In November 2001,  Mr. Sheffield led the successful IPO of Magma Design Automation.  Mr. Sheffield most recently served as the CFO of Sequence Design Inc. of Santa Clara.

Mr. Sheffield holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Cal State, Northridge, and an MBA from the University of Utah.
