ChipX appoints Jamshed Qamar as VP of Customer Engineering Services

Santa Clara, CA –April 3, 2007 –  ChipX, leading the way with a broad range of next generation ASIC solutions, as Vice President of Customer Engineering Services. announced today that Jamshed Qamar has joined the company

In this position, Qamar will be responsible for integrating and growing the ChipX engineering services organization. He will report to the CEO, Amnon Fisher. Ophir Nadir has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of ChipX, Israel.  He will continue to manage the ChipX Research and Development activities in that location.

Qamar has 27 years in the Semiconductor industry.  Prior to joining ChipX, Qamar was Executive Vice President, Technology and Marketing Center for Oki Semiconductor for 23 years. He has extensive experience in ASIC products, design implementation and business development.
